Akwa Ibom Launches ARISE Tech Talent Accelerator to Train 1,200 Youths in Digital Skills

The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced six new opportunities on its State Employment Portal under the Ministry of Science and Digital Economy.
At the center of the announcement is the ARISE Tech Talent Accelerator Program, a strategic digital skills initiative approved by Umo Eno. The program is designed to equip young people with practical and globally relevant technology skills.
The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, digital transformation, and economic diversification across Akwa Ibom State.

 

Program Overview

The ARISE Tech Talent Accelerator will train 1,200 young people in high-demand digital fields, including:

  • Mobile App Development
  • Data Analytics
  • Cybersecurity
  • Cloud Computing and DevOps
  • Digital Marketing
  • WordPress Development

Participants selected for the program will also receive preparation for internationally recognized certifications such as AWS, CompTIA, Google Professional Certificates, Flutter, and other global tech credentials.
