AREAi Announces Job Opportunity for Female Facilitators in Kaduna State
A youth-led non-profit organisation, AREAi, has opened applications for female facilitators to join its Mobile Technical Literacy (MTL) Program in Kaduna State, Nigeria. The initiative aims to equip adolescent girls with essential digital and technical skills, helping to bridge the gender digital divide and improve future opportunities.
AREAi is committed to expanding access to quality education across Africa, with a strong focus on empowering young girls through digital literacy and community-based learning.
As part of the program rollout, the organisation plans to reach 1,860 girls across 14 Local Government Areas in Kaduna State. These include Chikun, Igabi, Jaba, Jema’a, Kachia, Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Kagarko, Kaura, Kubau, Kudan, Lere, and Soba.
Role and Responsibilities
Selected facilitators will:
- Deliver hands-on digital literacy training sessions
- Support skill development among participants
- Build confidence and encourage learning engagement
- Contribute to improving health awareness and work readiness
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be female
- Have relevant teaching or facilitation experience
- Be fluent in Hausa language
- Possess basic mobile or digital technical skills
- Show strong commitment to girls’ education and empowerment
