ARISE Jigawa Training Programme 2026 Opens for Applications – Free Digital Skills Training for Youths
The Jigawa State Government, in partnership with the Jigawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency, has launched the ARISE Jigawa Training Programme 2026 aimed at empowering young people with practical digital and employability skills.
Tagged ARISE Jigawa (Accelerating Readiness, Innovation & Skills for Employment), the initiative is a free intensive two-day training programme designed to prepare 1,500 youths for opportunities in today’s digital economy.
The programme focuses on equipping participants with job-ready skills, freelancing knowledge, and workplace tools needed to compete in modern employment spaces. According to the organisers, the initiative seeks to bridge the gap between formal education and employability through hands-on, industry-relevant training.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants interested in the ARISE Jigawa Training Programme 2026 must meet the following conditions:
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old
- Must have completed NYSC
- Must be an indigene or resident of Jigawa State
- Must possess basic smartphone or computer skills
- Must be unemployed or underemployed
