Call For Applications: The Readytorun Bootcamp 2026
Yiaga Africa, in partnership with the European Union (EU), is pleased to announce that applications are now officially open for the ReadytoRun Bootcamp.
Since its inception in 2018, the #ReadyToRun campaign has remained a cornerstone of youth political engagement in Nigeria. It is dedicated to inspiring, supporting, and equipping the next generation of leaders for the complexities of public office.
This initiative is designed as a one-day immersive training program tailored specifically for young Nigerians who are ready to transition from spectators to active participants in leadership.
Meanwhile, the bootcamp aims to bridge the gap between aspiration and effective governance. It does this by providing aspirants with a comprehensive toolkit for political success.
The Bootcamp Experience
Selected participants will undergo intensive training sessions focused on:
- Effective Campaign Strategies: Learning how to build and manage a winning political structure.
- Ethical Fundraising: Mastering the means to generate resources without compromising integrity.
- Visibility Channels: Utilizing modern media and grassroots communication to amplify their message.
- Political Education & Mentorship: Gaining insights from experienced professionals and building a rich network of like-minded peers.
Education Eligibility and Diversity
- The program is open to political aspirants aged between 25 and 35 years.
- In a deliberate effort to foster inclusive governance, Yiaga Africa strongly encourages women and persons living with disabilities (PWDs) to apply for this opportunity.
Locations
The training sessions will be held in four strategic regional hubs:
• Kano
• Lagos
• Enugu
• Gombe
