LAPO Microfinance Bank is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of General Services Manager. The bank is looking for highly organized individuals who can effectively coordinate operational support services and manage administrative activities across assigned zones.

 

This opportunity is open in four states in Nigeria, including **Edo State, Kaduna State, Kano State, and Ondo State. Successful candidates will be responsible for managing assets, supervising operational support teams, and ensuring smooth service delivery within their zones.

 

Job Responsibilities

The General Services Manager will oversee key operational and administrative functions within the assigned zone. Key duties include:

  • Managing and maintaining an updated database of all company assets within the zone.
  • Ensuring all assets have proper insurance coverage.
  • Monitoring budget allocations and expenditures related to facilities and asset management.
  • Ensuring all branch offices are properly branded in line with the bank’s corporate standards.
  • Supervising vendor registration and management processes.
  • Coordinating distribution of operational materials, stocks, and stationery to branches.
  • Managing inventory documentation and quarterly needs assessments.
  • Supervising support staff including security personnel and cleaners.
  • Monitoring vehicle usage, maintenance, and operational compliance.
  • Managing office rent matters and insurance issues.
  • Overseeing approved communication lines used for operational purposes.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in facilities management, administration, or corporate services.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple operational activities across branches.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
