JAMB Regularization 2026: Updated Price, Steps and Documents Required
JAMB Regularization is a process introduced by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to validate and reconcile admission records for candidates whose admission details are not properly captured on the JAMB portal.
Many students in Nigeria who gained admission through direct entry, part-time, distance learning, or other special programmes may be required to complete JAMB Regularization to ensure their admission is officially recognized.
What Is JAMB Regularization?
JAMB Regularization (also known as Late Application) allows candidates to:
- Validate their admission status
- Generate a JAMB Registration Number (if they do not have one)
- Correct admission details
- Become eligible for NYSC mobilization
- Print JAMB Admission Letter
This process is very important for students planning to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
JAMB Regularization Price in 2026
The official JAMB Regularization fee is:
₦10,000 (excluding CBT centre service charges).
However, accredited CBT centres may charge additional service fees, bringing the total cost to approximately;
₦12,000 – ₦15,000 depending on the centre.
Candidates are advised to visit only accredited CBT centres to avoid fraud.
Requirements for JAMB Regularization
To complete the process, you will need:
- JAMB Profile Account
- Admission Letter from your institution
- O’Level Result
- Personal details (Date of Birth, State of Origin, etc.)
- Payment for regularization
How to Apply for JAMB Regularization
- Visit the official JAMB portal
- Login to your profile
- Click on “Late Application”
- Generate payment invoice
- Make payment online or at a bank
- Visit an accredited CBT centre for biometric capture
- Print your Indemnity Form
- Submit to your institution for approval
- Once approved, your admission will reflect on the JAMB CAPS portal.
