TVET 2026: Newly Approved Beneficiaries Advised to Enable GPS for Training Centre Selection
The Federal Government’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme has issued an important update for newly approved beneficiaries regarding the selection of training centres.
According to the latest notice, successful applicants are advised to turn on their device GPS/location services when attempting to select a training centre. This will help the system automatically display centres closest to their current location, making the selection process easier and faster.
Temporary Technical Issue Acknowledged
The TVET IT team has acknowledged that some beneficiaries are currently experiencing errors while trying to choose their preferred training centres. The technical glitch has been identified, and efforts are already underway to resolve it.
Officials have assured applicants that the issue will be fixed on or before Friday next week. Beneficiaries are therefore advised not to panic if they are unable to complete their centre selection at the moment.
What Beneficiaries Should Do
- Ensure your device GPS/location is switched on
- Use an updated browser or clear cache if necessary
- Check your dashboard regularly for updates
- Remain patient while the technical team resolves the issue
This update is expected to streamline the training centre selection process and ensure a smooth transition to the next stage of the TVET programme.
Beneficiaries are encouraged to stay informed through official TVET communication channels for further announcements.
