PLAC 2026 Legislative Internship Opportunity in Abuja – Apply Now
The Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC), with support from the European Union, has announced the 2026 Legislative Internship Programme for young Nigerians interested in gaining hands-on experience in legislative processes at the National Assembly.
This highly competitive internship is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge of lawmaking, public policy, and governance in Nigeria.

Duration: May 2026 – July 2026 (10 weeks, full-time)

Host Institution: National Assembly

Support: Stipends for transportation and lunch only
Applicants should note that accommodation and relocation costs are not provided, so candidates must be able to stay in Abuja during the program.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen aged 21–35 years
- Hold at least a first degree from a recognized institution
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps programme
- Possess strong English communication skills
- Have basic computer knowledge
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
