Job Summary
The Program Officer will lead the planning and implementation of programs that support storytelling, media development, and community engagement. The role also involves content development, stakeholder collaboration, and program evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement media and community-based programs
- Develop, edit, and publish stories, reports, and updates
- Collaborate with media partners, stakeholders, and community groups
- Monitor and evaluate program performance and impact
- Prepare proposals, donor reports, and program updates
- Identify opportunities to expand program reach and effectiveness
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Development Communication, Social Work, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience
- Strong background in journalism or newsroom experience (preferred)
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage projects and work with diverse stakeholders
