Study in the Netherlands 2026: Scholarships and International Study Opportunities Open

Nuffic has announced new international study opportunities for students interested in pursuing higher education in the Netherlands through the official Study in NL platform for the 2026 academic cycle.

The platform serves as the official information hub for international students seeking admission into Dutch higher institutions. Managed by Nuffic and supported by the Dutch government, Study in NL provides guidance on available programmes, scholarships, admission requirements, and student life in the Netherlands.

The Netherlands remains one of Europe’s leading destinations for international education due to its globally recognized universities, modern teaching methods, and multicultural learning environment.

Thousands of international students apply yearly for English-taught programmes across different academic levels.
Students can apply for programmes offered by research universities, universities of applied sciences, university colleges, and institutes for international education. Available study levels include Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, EngD, and PhD programmes.

Several universities and scholarship providers in the Netherlands are expected to offer fully funded and partially funded scholarships for the 2026 session. These scholarships may cover tuition fees, living expenses, health insurance, and travel support depending on the institution and programme.

International applicants from different countries are eligible to apply, while some institutions may accept alternative English language proficiency proofs instead of IELTS.

The Study in NL platform also provides useful resources for prospective students, including admission guides, visa information, internship opportunities, summer school programmes, and insights into the Dutch education system.

Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the official Study in NL portal to explore available courses, scholarship opportunities, and institution-specific deadlines.
