Amnesty International Nigeria Opens Applications for Micro-Influencers Cohort 2026
Amnesty International Nigeria has announced applications for the Micro-Influencers Cohort 2026 under the Strengthening Human Rights Defenders to Protect Civic Space Project, supported by the German Embassy in Nigeria.
The programme is designed for young digital creators who are passionate about promoting human rights, civic engagement, and responsible storytelling through social media platforms.
Selected participants will receive specialized training in human rights advocacy, digital security, ethical online influence, and campaign development. Participants will also gain access to mentorship opportunities, advocacy networks, and mini-grants to support social impact campaigns within their communities.
According to the organisers, the initiative aims to empower young Nigerians to use digital platforms for positive social change while strengthening civic participation and accountability across the country.

Eligibility Requirements
Interested applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Reside in Lagos, Abuja, or Enugu
- Have between 10,000 and 25,000 followers on at least one social media platform
- Show passion for ethical digital influence and community impact
