OPay Opens Nationwide Recruitment for Operations Officers Across Nigeria
OPay has announced fresh nationwide job openings for qualified and motivated Nigerians to join its growing team as Operations Officers across several states, including Lagos, Abuja, Oyo, Delta, Enugu, Sokoto, Kogi, Plateau, and other locations nationwide.

According to the recruitment notice, the Operations Officer position plays a major role in supporting field operations and ensuring business targets are achieved within assigned regions. Successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring and tracking the activities and performance of Business Developers (BDs), while ensuring operational efficiency and merchant engagement.
The role also includes conducting regular field visits to merchants to evaluate product adoption, customer usage, and overall satisfaction with OPay services. Candidates will be expected to gather and analyze operational data using Microsoft Excel and prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support business decisions and improve operational performance.
In addition, Operations Officers will assist with merchant onboarding, documentation verification, compliance monitoring, and issue resolution. The selected candidates will also provide support and feedback to Business Developers to improve productivity and field performance.
To be eligible for the role
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or other related disciplines.
- Candidates with experience in operations, sales support, fintech, banking, or telecommunications will have an added advantage.
- Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are also required.
